ABOUT EVAN

Evan Wilson spent over three decades in the finance industry, retiring in 2025 as Senior Vice President for Financial Well-Being at Meritrust Credit Union. He focused on building cultures where leadership inspires, encourages, and promotes growth. His responsibilities included oversight of wealth management, financial well-being strategy, and life and dream coaching: helping both leaders and employees grow personally and professionally. Evan also served on the executive leadership team, contributing to strategic planning and organizational development.

Passionate about improving organizational health through leadership development, Evan founded COACH Leadership Consulting in 2016. Through the art of storytelling, he inspires audiences across North America and internationally with a focus on relational leadership and application-based learning.

Drawing from years of leading teams of all sizes, including time spent coaching basketball, Evan challenges individuals to recognize, own, and grow their leadership potential.


Evan is a life-long learner, a graduate of Wichita State and the Executive Leadership Coaching Program.
He is currently serving on the boards of ONELINK International, Junior Achievement, and volunteers in the community mentoring business professionals along with training many regional non-profits.
He enjoys traveling, pickleball, golfing and following WSU athletics. Evan and his wife Phyllis have been married 36 years and are blessed with three married children and one granddaughter.
